The Australian Government oversees the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and charges an EMC (National Park / Marine Park Fee) of $24 per guest for entry into the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This fee also covers the costs of all public moorings.
Insurance Excess Reduction*
The Insurance Excess for any single accident, damage or loss whilst on charter is $4,000. By selecting the Insurance Excess Reduction (IER) for a fee of $400, your Insurance Excess will be reduced to only $700 for any single event.

Portland Roads is already the lowest emitter of carbon in the industry; Indeed, each year we offset more than is required, leaving us Carbon positive. We do this by matching our charterers dollar for dollar over and above our social requirements. This is not mandatory, this is not a tax. This is an investment in our future.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT:If you have paid a deposit, your deposit is Non-Refundable. The balance of your holiday booking payment is due 150 days before your charter. Please take out Travel Insurance for cancellations outside of your control.

RRP:If you have paid our Recommended Retail Price, your funds are secured in a TRUST ACCOUNT until 7 days before your charter. By paying RRP you receive full flexibility over your booking. With date changes/vessel changes possible, up to 90 days before your charter. Refunds are available (less Square’s 2.2% booking fee), up to 150 days before your charter – Please take out Travel Insurance for cancellations within 150 days of your charter, for any cancellations outside of your control.

DISCOUNT BOOKING:If you have taken up one of our discounted offers, (Anchor Club, Early Bird, or Last Minute), you have secured your holiday with Less Flexibility; in exchange for the Generous Discounted Pricing. You can opt out of this discounted offer before proceeding with this booking, or contact us within 7 days of booking if the reduced flexibility does not fit your circumstances. Please take out Travel Insurance for cancellations outside of your control.

With all bookings – You have our 7-day Change of Mind Policy / Cooling off Period

With this Change of Mind Policy / Cooling off Period policy you can review your holiday purchase and cancel your booking without penalty at any time in the next 7 days for a full refund, less any fees that are charged by our payment platform partner © 2024 SQUARE PTY. LTD. (At this time, this is a 2.2% booking Fee)

After your Cooling Off Period and up to 150 days before your holiday charter, you can change your holiday dates and even change your preferred boat, (subject to availability), with a one-off change fee of only AUD$500.

Changes to your holiday dates within 149 days of charter (or less) can still be made subject to availability, however, changes at this time will incur charges equal to the difference between your Discount Price and the Recommended Retail Price.

With your Discounted Booking, and after the Cooling Off Period; Refunds ARE NOT PERMITTED under any circumstances. To this end please purchase holiday cancellation travel insurance to protect yourself from events outside of your control for this pre-paid discounted holiday purchase.
